Something I hadn’t shared…

I know in my heart that I can’t let the year end without sharing this with you…

I was taking my time with this one because it was so special to me. It was something I had been so vocal about before that I knew when I did share it with you, it had to feel perfect. That day however, never came, so I feel it’s important to share with you now that I was in my first relationship this year, and I also experienced my very first break up.

I’m not going to lie, I think there is still a lot in my heart that I am trying to process and understand so out of respect to the relationship this is how much I feel ready to share. I know it’s not a whole lot that I’m sharing, but I genuinely just felt it was important to open up about this part of my life. There’s still a lot I’m figuring out, but I will tell you this, I am in a stage of a lot of learning, growing, and coming closer to God. Really leaning on Him more than ever for peace, clarity, and guidance in all areas of my life, especially this one. I know I don’t have all the answers, but I do know I’m leaning on the best source 🙂

I also want to add that I’m so grateful for you being a part of this blog, OUR safe space, which I value so much. I’ve always enjoyed being able to be vulnerable with you because it reminds me that there is a bigger purpose behind every experience. Each one serves as a reminder that we’re not alone when going through something, and they allow us to learn together.

Yo sé con todo mi corazón que no se puede terminar el año sin antes compartir esto con ustedes…

Me estaba tomando mi tiempo con esto porque era algo tan especial para mí. Era algo de lo cual yo había sido tan abierta con ustedes en el pasado, que sabía que cuando lo compartiera tenía que ser perfecto. Pero, ese día jamás llegó así que siento que es importante ahora decirles que estuve en mi primera relación este año, y también pasé por mi primer breakup.

No les voy a mentir, creo que aún hay mucho en mi corazón que estoy tratando de procesar y entender así que por respeto hacia a la relación esto es lo que me siento cómoda en compartir. Se que no es mucho lo que estoy compartiendo, pero realmente sentía que era importante hablar sobre esta parte de mi vida con ustedes. Lo que sí les puedo decir es que estoy en una etapa de mucho aprendizaje, crecimiento, y más acercamiento con Dios. Realmente confiar en Él más que nunca por paz, claridad, y dirección en todas las áreas de mi vida, pero sobre todo en esta. Yo sé que no tengo todas las respuestas, pero lo que sí sé es que me estoy inclinando en el mejor recurso que tenemos 🙂 

También aprovecho para agregar que estoy tan agradecida con cada uno de ustedes por formar parte de este blog, nuestro espacio seguro, que tanto valoro. Siempre he disfrutado el poder ser vulnerable con ustedes porque me recuerda que hay un propósito más grande detrás de cada experiencia. Nos recuerdan que no estamos solos, y que juntos podemos aprender.
